Authorized architect, teacher and since 2018 the head of the Department of Architectural Design II. at the Faculty of Architecture, CTU, where he also studied and was appointed associate professor there. In 2001–2002 he completed an internship with Renzo Piano. Since 2008 he has been running his own studio. He led a team of students of CTU Solar Decathlon 2013. He represents the FA in the Academic Senate of CTU and is a member of the Academic Senate of FA CTU. Since 2015 he has been working in the Steering Committee of the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE). He runs a studio with Martin Čeněk at the FA CTU, specializing in sustainable architecture and design-build projects. In 2021 they published the book Teaching [Sustainable] Architecture.
